For many, many years Joe Erkman has played rhythm guitar in the shadows at the back of the Sawyer Brown stage.
Erkman seems content, however, to remain in the background while the other guys sign autographs or pose for photos or jump
around on stage. Joe seems happy with his relative anonymity. He was introduced to the Sawyer Brown video audience
in 1989's video for "The Race Is On."
